Facilities and Activities for Dogs
Many parks have off-leash areas where your dog can run free, such as Het Heijderbos and De Kempervennen in the Netherlands, and De Vossemeren in Belgium.
Some parks, such as Park Zandvoort and De Kempervennen, even offer places where your dog can swim in the lake.
For those who love walking, there are fantastic routes near a number of parks. Park Eifel in Germany is located near the National Park, a beautiful area with forests and lakes, ideal for long walks with your dog.
You can also walk with your four-legged friend through the hills in the Belgian Ardennes. There are also beautiful walking routes along the Moselle in Germany where you can enjoy the surroundings together.
Almost all parks have handy facilities such as dog toilets and drinking stations, so that you can always be well prepared for your trip.
There are special paths that start directly from your accommodation, ideal for a walk with your dog.
