Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a must-do dining experience for anyone visiting Walt Disney World! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was filled with fun, laughter, and the unmistakable magic of Disney. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options (including those famous Mickey waffles!), and the characters made sure to visit every table for photos and autographs. Seeing Mickey and friends interact so warmly with guests was truly the highlight of our meal. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to return to Chef Mickey’s on our next trip— it’s the perfect spot for families to create unforgettable memories!

This was our first stay at the contemporary resort. We booked joining rooms 6 months in advance and for some reason, they could not get us in joined rooms for the first night. After some shuffling around, we settled in for the other 3 nights. Its convenient to the parks, the pool is great, and there are restaurants on site. The California grill was a geeat spot for food and seeing the fireworks!

Excellent experience and quiet except for the lighted boat parade which was super cool. Definitely recommend staying on the lower level so you have a patio and can walk out on the path. Rooms were well maintained and the staff was exceptional and it is a quick walk to the magic kingdom.

We were very fortunate to be placed in the new renovated side of Bay Lake Tower. Wow. It reminds us of the Disneyland Villas in CA. Very well done. Everything in the Room is pretty much prefect. This is a room that you can be comfortable in for a 5-7 day trip without clawing at the walls. Gorgeous view of Bay Lake as well. Exceptional service as well.

What a classic this is. Honestly just being from my childhood up to now I would give it 5 stars but from a resort perspective I can’t. HOWEVER, the magic is here and you will “feel” like 5 stars especially due to the incredible service and experience. -ask the front desk for the scavenger hunt -book the capital grill at night to see fireworks -go out onto the landing at the corner main floor to sit and watch the fireworks outside. Usually 8pm. Get their early for a good seat -chef mickeys is a good all you can eat. A bit pricey but for children it’s amazing -location of course is great for boat to parks or wilderness lodge. Enjoy!
